Josh stood in the Warbler choir room. He was waiting there early so he could say goodbye to the group of guys who had become his best friends, and were partically his brothers.
The other warblers didn't know yet that thier lead soloist was having to transfer over to William McKinley High.
Josh didn't notice as a three guys walked in; a reddish-brunette haired boy,a tall asian. along with a short dark haired boy who trailed slightly behind.
The trio stopped in their tracks at the sadness that seemed to surround the young soloist.
"Josh?"The small dark-haired boy who had on thick black glasses; whose name was Thomas Harwood. He was the secretary of the warbler concil. "Are you okay?"he asked hugging the taller male from behind.
Josh shook his head softly"I have to transfer to McKinley"Josh said turning to Thomas.
"What?!"he heard a course of voices (from the rest of the warblers who arrived in time to hear him) say behind him. "But you can't leave!" "You're the lead soloist" where some other things he heard.
"I'm sorry"Josh whispered to the group"My dad just got a job down in Lima"he added as he started taking off the navy blue blazer. He started to hand the blazer to Nathan Duvall before he was stopped.
"Keep it"Nathan whispered handing him it back"Once a warbler"he started. "Always a warbler"Josh and the others said together.
Josh smiled sadly before picking up his bags after hugging the others one last time. He walked out of the school in a light green shirt, blue jeans, neon green converses, and the navy blue blazer.
Josh walked down the steps and towards the car, which his dad,brothers, and sister where in. But before he could walk any further he was tackled from behind by a asian boy.
He groaned and turned onto his back to see Jerry Montgomery. "Dude you are going to have to get off me" he said as Jerry hugged him. "Nope"the younger boy whispered"If I do that you leave" Josh sighed as he hugged the boy back. "Just because I'm leaving doesn't mean I won't hang out with you guys"he said softly"And plus if I join Mckinley's glee club. We would end up competing against each other"Josh added.
"Like I said before I have to go"Josh said and then they both stood up. Only for Josh to have a girl in the dalton academy uniform run up and planet a kiss on his lips.
(I know what you're thinking 'Why is there a girl at a all boys school?'. Well the girl who ran up is not a girl at all. Her names Maxine James, but her real name is Maxwell James and she is the only transgender student at Dalton.)
Durring the kiss he heard his brothers yell for he and Maxine to get a room, followed by the duo yelling the word 'ow'. Josh chuckled as Maxine pulled away. "I'm going to miss you"Maxine said smiling sadly.
"I'll miss you too, Maxxie"Josh said hugging the two people infront of him.
Afterwards he had gotten into the car and put his things away. Josh looked out the window as they drove away.
